This is a 24 hour prayer ministry that we have at Little River. It is our goal to have people praying for our church and its needs 24 hours a day! Every one is encouraged to sign up for 15 minutes a day!
The following guide is just that – a guide to help you know what to pray for on a daily basis. Always pray as the Lord leads you, but these can help you get started.
SUNDAY - Pray for SERVICE
- Pray that every member of LRBC will use their time, talents, and treasure for the glory of God.
Time: Pray that we all would be good stewards of out time, using every second for God’s glory!
Talents: Pray that we would all use the Spiritual gifts that God has given us to serve the body. Pray also that we would use our natural talents for His service.
Treasure: Pray that we would all be faithful to support the work of the ministry through the faithful giving of our tithes and offerings.
MONDAY - Pray for MINISTRY LEADERS
- Pray for Pastor Scott & his family.
- Pray for the Deacons as they assist Pastor Scott in ministering to the needs of the congregation.
- Pray for all of our Ministry Team Leaders as they oversee their respective Ministry Teams.
- Pray for all LIFE Group, Bible Study, & Community LIFE Group Leaders.
TUESDAY - Pray for TOGETHERNESS

Pray for unity among the church body.

Pray for unity in embracing the vision that God has given LRBC of being Real, Relevant, & Relational.

Pray for LRBC to be a true fellowship of believers who truly love and care for one another.
WEDNESDAY - Pray for the WORLD

Pray for those within our church who do not know Jesus.

Pray for those in our community who do not know Jesus.

Pray for opportunities for our members to share their faith with those God places in their paths.

Pray for our evangelistic outreach programs.

Pray that we would be faithful in supporting mission work both here in the US & around the world.
THURSDAY - Pray for TRAINING

Pray that we would all develop a greater hunger for God.

Pray that we would all desire to go deeper in His Word.

Pray that we would all become mighty Prayer Warriors.
FRIDAY - Pray for FAMILIES
- Pray that our families would all follow the Biblical model that God has established in His Word.
- Pray that our men would be the spiritual leaders in their homes, that our women would willingly be submissive to their husbands and that our children would be obedient.
- Pray for all parents that they would raise their children up in the ways of God.
SATURDAY - Pray for SUNDAY SERVICES

Pray for the Worship Service and all the preparation that goes into it. (for Pastor Scott, Worship Team, etc.)

Pray that God would be pleased with our worship as we come to celebrate who He is & what He has done.

Pray that God would continue to fill our service with those who do not know Jesus; that they would be exposed to Him; and choose to give their lives to Him.

Pray for the Children’s Ministry activities that go on during our Worship Services.

Pray for all of our adult, youth, & children’s Sunday School classes.
Praying Tips
To make sure you remember to pray at during your 15 minutes try the following:
- Set an alarm to remind you of your time.
- Schedule your time on your calendar, palm pilot, planner, etc.
- Keep a journal or log of prayer time.
- Pair up with a friend and hold one another accountable.
If you have a prayer request that you would like to have prayed about you can let us know in the following ways:
To make sure you know what to pray for daily (whether to stick to this guide or whether an immediate need is to be prayed for) do the following:
- Check your email daily. If a need arises that needs to be prayed for you will be notified by email.
- Check LRBC’s website at www.littleriverbaptist.org and click on the 24/7 link.
(If you do not have internet access please make sure we have your phone number and you will be called.)
Please make sure you check daily to make sure the focus for day has not changed!
